OUR HISTORY
B&L Ag Inc. was established in 2019 with a mission to deliver only the best in quality of seed with the highest germination. The foundation of B&L Ag Inc. was created by the extensive knowledge of the seed industry to work directly with vendors that deliver only the best quality. Since the beginning, B&L Ag Inc. has been a family-orientated business based out of Clear Lake, South Dakota. This is where we have rooted our culture and integrity in a continuous mindset of ongoing improvements and a commitment to reinvest in our product(s), service(s), equipment and our customer service. We are more committed than ever to helping our current and future customers succeed.

ABOUT BRENT KRAUSE
OWNER/FOUNDER
Brent Krause started his passion and love for the agricultural industry from the day he was born. Brent was raised in Clear Lake, SD on a family farm that is still actively farming today. Through his time spent working on the farm with his family, he learned an abundance of knowledge about agriculture and the importance of building trusting relationships. The development in the communication skills needed to succeed in the industry was taught early on in Brent's adolescent years that has now led him to be passionate about his relationships with farmers in the Midwest.
Brent continued his passion to learn and grow more with agriculture while attending South Dakota State University. After completing his degree there, he has continued to stay proactive in promoting the industry throughout South Dakota and other areas in the Midwest. Brent's loyalty to the area consists of having good products and services that promote better farm practices and supplying quality seed and advice.
Brent prides himself in setting goals each growing season with his customers. Each year brings different challenges. By implementing an operation plan that will provide an outlet for quality grown seed, the probability of his growers to continue exceeding yields each growing season is a goal that Brent does not take lightly. When he is not engaging with his growers with the ongoing relationship building and trust he has with each of his customers, Brent is a dedicated husband and father to his growing family. His genuine heart in helping others find farming success in a very competitive business is important to him and strives to continue the promise of delivering the essential communication, products, and services for the generations to come.
